Support from family and friends...

They are all being great! We came out from the appt yesterday and my husband was just as excited as me. He said alright, what do you want to eat tonight? It is your pick tonight whatever you want it is all about you. Tomorrow we kick it in full gear, and I am going to do it with you. It will be easier if we both do it together. Then my best friend text today and ask how it went yesterday? I told her good and that as soon as I lose 44 lbs the Dr said surgery should be a go. She was very happy and said ok we will do this together, ok? She went on and said we can be strong for each other and keep each other going.

Now keep in mind that my husband  prolly needs to lose maybe 50lbs and my best friend maybe 35 -40. So neither one are very much overweight but they are ready to step up to the plate so to speak and be my partners in this to give me their support. I am so blessed with the support God has provided me with....

I love this post!!!  Yay for you! I can tell you right now that having support from those closest to you is a major major benefit. It's so hard to lose weight when people around you are not - even when it's not intentional sabotage, just the environment makes a difference.

Your hubby and friend sound like great people - you are going to do amazing!!! I can't wait to hear about your progress!

Thanks! I know that I am very lucky with all the support I have. I am so very thankful. It also helps that my sister is an RN so she understands all the medical stuff that I may not and can explain it to me if need be. Plus if I need any help after surgery she is there for me.....

Support is so important, and it sounds like you have great support.

You will loose that 44 lbs before you know it.

Your new future begins today, and with a husband, family, and friends like that I am confident in your success.

good luck.

Gary
