I had my surgery exactly 8 weeks ago. I've lost 42 pounds since my surgery date and 51.2 pounds including my preop diet. :) I have 1 wee****il my 2 month surgiversary but I wanted to mark my 50 pound milestone. I am now in the 320s :) I remember when I was first having the surgery I was excited about a future of being in the 350s and now I'm all the way down to the 320s! Soon I'll be saying goodbye to the 3's altogether!!! I've already had to stalls and the weightloss isn't moving too quickly in the second month but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am strict with my eating plan and walk regularly. I hope it will make my loss speed up! I've ordered about 8 fun dvds (some toning) and I'm excited to step my exercise game up!

I saw some family last night and their reactions to me were priceless. My close cousin kept telling me she could tell from the second she saw me and that there was a drastic difference. My uncle doesn't know about the surgery and he did a double take and was shocked and asked "what happened to you?!" as if I was missing an arm or something! It was hilarious. A family friend pointed it out and was like "Mija, you look goood! You lost weight!" It was just crazy to go somewhere where everyone was noticing all on their own and at all different times. I didn't know there was that big of a difference. It made me feel really good because sometimes I feel like I look the same. My cousin who is close to 600 pounds kept hovering over me and watching what I ate and I could tell he was very curious about me and my loss and what I was eating. He knows about the surgery. Hopefully as he sees me get smaller he will me encouraged to look into it.

I took my little half naked progress pictures and there isn't much of a difference. Have you guys noticed that you can see more of a difference in clothed pictures as opposed to underwear pictures?

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well :)

Way to go!
I am sure that there is a definite difference in your photos. It is sometimes harder for the one losing to actually see this.

CONGRADULATIONS again!!

MAKE IT A GREAT DAY!!         SHERRIE <3

Congrats!!! You are doing awesome. Plus you sound so much happier. You can tell just in the tone of your posts!!!

Don't let those charts worry you. You're not on a timeline and you don't need to be keyholed into someone's chart. Do it at your own pace and to your own goals!!!

Aren't compliments from family the best?! They've often been there thru thick and thicker (in my case). Makes me happy and it makes them happy, too.  Looks like you might be a good influence on your loved ones.

Naaaaked? I don't think so--not even half naked. I just look as little as possible!

Keep up the good work. You'll be in the 2s very soon!   Yes----2s!

First -- Contratulations on the losses!!!!!
Second -- "Your results may vary..."

Take the two comments to heart, we all compare ourselves with others, when it just doesn't work that way.  You keep chugging along, and don't ever feel like you are not succeeding!!!!
