So why can't I excercise?
Richard Simmons has helped lots of people take off the weight. I have also heard Leslie Santone is good for people who are very overweight and cannot do intense workouts right away or for people who need to start again and need motivation. Dr. Oz had a guy on his show recently who talked about a 10 minute work-out. They all work if we are motivated to do it. I find reading a great weight loss book motivates me. Its hard to find the motivation, but you have to keep looking for the answer. You will find it. Good Luck. Sharon
I have the same problem. I hate to exercise and I don't have much time either. I work, do an internship and go to school. Then there's the tons of reading and grad papers to write. I am so tired when I get home (after pulling 10-12 hr days) that I just want to veg on the couch until bedtime. I know I have to get my butt in gear though. I see you are in PA. I am too. Which part of PA? If we're close, maybe we can exercise together. I might just look into buying those videos. I suppose I can make time for 10 minutes a day...

Ok... so don't laugh, but I am planning on ordering Richard Simmons' Sweating to the Oldies Dvds! I was watching them on youtube and they look fun! I'm a lot bigger and so I can't really do all kinds of bouncing around craziness so it kind of works for me (and I think it works for people of all sizes), plus I really think that the music will make the time go fast. I like that his videos have people of all sizes. It's kind of encouraging to see a lady around my size doing the dances. Your babies can dance with you too depending on how old they are.
I have a dance game for the Wii but it's not fun to me. Maybe because I'm alone or maybe because I don't like the music or maybe because I think the movements are too hard and not really geared towards exercising... I don't know.
Ohhh Richard Simmons also has a toning video. I think I'm going to get that too.
Oh wait I have one more. Leslie Sansone (I think that's her name) she has these dvds called Walk Away the Pounds and you kind of just walk in place and do these little moves and lunge (sp?) things and side steps and you can do a 10 minute mile and she has 2 mile walks and 3 mile walks and different things. I used to do a video right when I would come home from work sometimes when I lost weight last time and it really would take 10-20 min and it wasn't bad at all. I think we hate exercise so much because IT HURTS and it's boring. That's why I want the Richard Simmons thing and the Walk Away the Pounds ones are really good for quick exercise. No joke, you can do a 10 min, 1 mile walk the second you get up before the babies do. Find 10 min, twice a day to throw it in there. You can do it, I promise :)
