My surgeon said that the surgery went well yesterday and I got to come home today.
I am very sleepy---is that normal? I walked a few times back and forth. The gas pain has really gotten to me and I was told walking would help break that up.
I had my first incident of drinking too fast and/or too much (I was so thirsty)----I had to lay down---believe you me, I will NEVER do that again! Anyways----just wanted to share that I was back at home.

OH yeah--- I lost a total of 21 pounds on my liquid diet :-)

WOW! Home already! Let the fun begin.

So from prior surgeries the drs are absolutely right. Keep trying to walk and just move and it will help with the gas pains.

Hope your recovery continues to go smoothly.

Glad you are doing so well.  That is great you are home.  Remember all that air  from lap surgery will give you crazy weird pains- mine was in my back and shoulder- the only way to release is to take short walks even if it is just around the house a few times, get it worked out of your system.  You will sleep so much better when the air gets out of your body.  Take  it easy and sip sip sip!

Welcome home Latoya,

Like Dorothy said "there's no place like home, there's no place like home."

Take a moment to enjoy, relax for a few minutes, then get walking
