Monday Morning Weigh-In
Good morning everyone! I didn't see a post this AM so I thought I'd start one so we can all check in.
High - 420
Last week - 257
This week - 251
Goal - 180
I was very relieved to see a loss this week - I dont let the stalls get to me too much, but I usually get a little worried. If nothing else, I always take the time to reflect on anything I can do differently.
I'm doing a triathlon this coming weekend so its going to be a week of excitement, anticipation and a little nerves. Even if I stall again this week (Which is my pattern after a big loss) i will be happy knowing that ive done something that ive never done before and that means more than any number on the scale.

The big thing for me is while I ate carefully except for Thanksgiving Day, I did no exercise.
You are doing a triathlon, way to go. good luck.
I am getting my fat ass back in gear this week. Today I walked 5 miles at work and did another 4.75 on the treadmill ( intervals)when I got home
I want to get out of this stall. Any advice would be appreciated.

For me, stalls are as sure as the sun rising every morning. I generally dont lose weight for 2 weeks, then drop a big number in the matter of 2-3 days. Rinse. Repeat.
The only thing I can say that as long as you know what you are eating and you are eating according to your plan, you just have to have faith and ride it out. I try not to let it affect me mentally - yes, it irritates me, but i dont let it have any control over me. I still go forward with doing the right things regardless of what the scale is telling me.
Just stop and do a mental check: calories, protein, carbs, water, exercise? If everything looks good according to your plan, just keep going. If any thing needs a little tweak, make some adjustments.
Bottom line - just have faith in the process

So my only suggestion is dancing. But you are already walking a ton. I can't wait til I can move more.

JJ - My wife love your suggestion of dancing, but I have two left feet and no rhythm, so I'll just keep walking.
Also, regrading where you said " I can't wait til I can move more", that will be there before you know it. If you don't mind a piece on unsolicited advice, push your self. When you think you are at your limit, go a little more. And the next day or week, go a little bit more. You will be amazed at what you can do.
