Major BMI Victory !!!

When I started my weight loss journey, my BMI was over 53.  I'm a short 5'2 and a half inch woman who weighed 300 pounds. 

Today, my BMI is under 35 !  Yep !  I hit 34.9 !!!!  I'm still obese, but I have lost my other titles of super and morbid !!!

Getting my BMI to 29 is my next big goal in life !!!  I so am looking forward to being "just" overweight !!

It has been a crazy journey so far.

For those who are new, I lost 34 pounds pre-op (over almost 6 months) weighed 266 at surgery, and have now lost 72 pounds since VSG surgery January 24, 2011. 

I may not lose weight as quickly as some, but I'm in this for the long run.....

I remember that feeling, and it only gets better when you leave "Obese" behind. I sure hope someday to be in the "Normal" category, but I'll take "Overweight" to "Super Morbidly Obese" any day!
