Has anyone found a pedometer that will allow settings for weight at 450 pounds or more ? I would like one that can calculate My calories burned accurately. If anyone knows of one please reply. Thank you

I did not find a pedometer I liked.  However, I do have the Body Media armband.  It syncs to your computer so you can get an accurate reading as to what you are expending.  I no longer use mine every day.  However, I do use it a few days a month to make sure I am keeping everything on target.

I just use a cheap, old school one that clips to my waist.  I was more interested in knowing how many miles I walk each day, then knowing how many calories burned.

I am unaware of any podometers that have weight limits - I just know I am shooting to get under 300 pounds so I can FINALLY use the Wii Fit Board.

Try this site to get calories burned: realizemysuccess dot com -- it is bariatric based (the folks who make the medical instruments that perform bariatric surgery).  I like using their site, as it is based on your current weight -- if you and I did the same exercise, you being male & weighing more, burn MORE calories -- this site knows the difference.

Hope this helps a little ;)
