I am *this* close to goal (with pics)
In 1999 I weighed 430 pounds and had a BMI of 74 (I think) and lost to 210 pounds after having RNY gastric bypass. I wore a size 34/36 and got down to a 16/18, but I never lost anything more. Still I felt great and was happy where I was.
After four years post op I started gaining weight and by 2009 I had regained 92 pounds. No matter what I did I could not seem to lose the weight even though I tried many times and many different diets. Thus began my revision journey from RNY to DS. I weighed 302 pounds by then. Today, I weigh 157 pounds and am seven pounds from my goal weight. I went from wearing a size 26 to a size 10 and a small/medium top. It's been quite a ride, but totally worth it. Just thought I would share to give everyone encouragement.

I have been stalled since January. As a DSer carbs are not really good for us and I ended up gaining 17 pounds. I've since gotten back on track and have been high carbing it and have dropped 15 of those 17 pounds. I'm hoping that my plateau will be broken now and I'll get to my goal. My doctors goal is 140 which would be amazing, but I'll take whatever I can get ya know?
Glad to hear that you have been get under your goal. That's very wonderful.
