Keeping in the Fight
It's been a while since i last posted but i still remain dedicated in coming on here and leaving positive feedback. I'm 2 months away from my 2 year mark and understand that the fight is often a battle. It's been an amazing journey with both ups and downs. Being on this forum i feel most at home with others that have higher BMI's and with an added struggle of getting more than 150 pounds off. I have an active lifestyle, maintain a balance meal plan and exceeding all of my expectations. I still have to get 40-50 more pounds off and fear that my body will stop losing so i push my body as much as i can. Good luck with everyone and stay motivated to go further.

On June 30th i will post my swimsuit reveal. Even with drastic loss, toning is possible with effort, it may not be perfect but your hard work will show. Rejoice in your accomplishments:)

Thanks, as always i try to be. I think it's important that we all encourage eachother. I'm still not at my goal. And have you ever said, how could i have gotten so big. That if i was smaller when i had the surgery i'd be at goal? It's those thoughts that bug me. Or thinking my body will stop losing at 2 years. I'm very active so i'm doing all i can but it's hard sometimes.
I wish I could say it gets easier......:-) But keep in mind it is worth the struggle girl! That is why it is so deep to me when people feel it is the easy way out. It is not and it is a lot of work to keep weight off. The good thing about any WLS is that it let's you drop the weight in a half the time but after the honeymoon is over it is all on us.
I feel you, it's strange with such a big loss to be both happy and unhappy at the same time. I know for me, I am so proud of all the weight I have lost, but worried that I will never make it to goal. Still, I am rejoicing in the life that I have now and that's the most important thing. Keep posting and keep working it- you look fantastic!!!

Thanks Danni, that mean alot from another fellow active member. Way to go with your cycling, i see you. Your doing fantastic. I get down on myself cause i do feel i should be smaller and feel my body will stop losing after 2 years. I compare, though i know its not good but i do. I compare myself with others that started around me and now i should be atleast 20 pounds lighter. I do look smaller but the scale never lies.
The good news is that, your body can always lose. It's just harder after the 2yr mark, but not impossible. I see people on these boards all the time who are 5- 10 yrs out who still lose if they get back on track. I've seen it in a co-worker of mine, who lost 25lbs last year and she's 8 yrs out. So no worries on that front.
Also, you're right, you can't compare yourself to others- sure you could be smaller, but you could also be bigger! You are a success and you will continue to be so as long as you keep loving yourself and your new active life.
It's not always easy, trust me I know, but we are worth it!
Oh an BTW- You are flippin' beautiful- just sayn'
Keep on, Keepin' On!
