DS from the beginning?

Looking for experiences from people who started with DS and BMI over 55....

if you have a blog or other info to share-- fill me in.

Ive heard from many people with revisions I was just not finding the people on the DS board that started with the surgery.

I haven't lost everything I wanted to, but I can wear normal size clothes which is/was one of my milestones.

My journey took some time and has had a few bumps, and I will definitely need to make a few more lifestyle changes to lose more weight.

All that said, it was the right thing for me and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If you have specific questions please feel free to ask me and I'll answer as best I can. 

Also, I do have an OH blog but I haven't put anything there in a while.

Hye, my bmi was 55.  Im 5'8 and hover around 360's.  I had a DS done on 3/7/11.  I have a blog, but am still recuperating.  I will continue to update when most of my energy is back.

My BMI was over 60 and I am 5.5 years post-op. I've had the preverbiable 10 lb rebound but thats it (funny that it landed me at the weight I said would be right for me).

I've got some stuff in my profile, but feel free to ask me whatever I'm open about it all.

I LOVE my DS. I live a normal happy life.

I started with a BMI very close to 64.....I lost 300 lbs...and had a 15 lbs rebound in the last year....but am slowly losing that again.
