Enjoying 90 pounds LIGHTER...
Every year I usually spend a month in Hawaii, so I started looking at photos from before surgery, wow - shocking! Just last year, before I started my journey in earnest, I did all the usual stuff. Complained that I hate not fitting in seat belts, the lack of clothing over a 3X (seriously, there is NOT a lot of retail options, which seems crazy, at least On Maui), and that I just did not have the energy I used to have.
This year is completely different! I FIT in the seat belts, was able to pick up a Clearance swimsuit at Walmart - for FIVE BUCKS, and climbed all the stairs to the Iao Needle in Iao Valley -- see my profile for photos.
When I am out with my friends, I am usually leading the pack, I joked that I needed one of those retractable dog leashes to slow me down! I missed this active body!! The best part, I will (hopefully) be a "normal" size NEXT year!
I have a photo from Haleakala of me in a denim dress - wow, I was even bigger than i had imagined. My starting weight was AFTER my trip last year, and I had been working on my weight before the initial weigh in, so I sadly do not know how high I was. No worries, that is the PAST! Looking forward to the future!
