BMI is still high, but getting lower!
When I started out on this journey, I had a few setbacks, and got a change in surgeon, but I am pretty happy after visiting my doctors office. As of today, I have gone from a BMI of 74.4 to 62.8 - I have lost SEVENTY-THREE pounds (weee)! I looked at the scale, the nurse said, "Let's make sure," weighed again, I am two pounds away from finally being under 400 pounds - another squeal!
I am two months post surgical, have not been released to exercise yet, so the weight has been coming off slowly. I still am being treated for an open wound, but crossing my fingers I have less than a month left of that "extra belly button".
Checking my goals on OH, I was actually surprised I did not include "Weigh 400 pounds," so no new goal attained - but I am still pretty happy. Stay positive, and take all your vitamins!

I did not have the Sleeve, I had Laproscopic Roux-en-Y. The wound is NOT from an open procedure, it was a hernia repair that split. I had a couple things go awry during my surgery - found an ectopic mass inside my stomach (my "evil twin" I joke about), and an embylical hernia repair (top of belly button - up a few inches) that may have been too tight, subsequently split.
This is why I have had no real exercise, beyond walking. I have had "woozy spells," so there is a question that I may be either hypoglycemic or maybe a weird inner ear thing. We are ruling things out - high/low blood pressure has already been ruled out.
Stay moving, stay positive, and be patient!

You're doing great! Keep up the hard work, and I hope that it's an inner ear thing for your sake, cuz if you're like the many others of us that developed reactive hypoglycemia, well then I wish you luck- cuz it sucks.
I have to keep eating all day long to keep my blood sugar from tanking, but I'm still able to live a normal life- so it's still worth it!
I'm sure you'll be under 400 again very soon and never head back that way again!!
