what is the best liquid diet to go on before surgery.
I think they're all pretty much the same as long as you're getting in your protein and vitamins. I just did Isopure shakes, but I know Optisource is popular.

My doctor wanted me to drink slim fast 4 times/day and have a small meal for dinner, staying under 1000 calories. It had way too many carbs in it for me so I tried a drink called EAS Advantage. You can find it at Walmart and Sam's Club. Walmart has them for 4pk/$5 and Sam's has 24pks/$27. They taste pretty good too as long as they are served cold. They're 160 cal, 3g fat and choc has 2 net carbs, vanilla has 1 net carb and all have 17g protein. Strawberry is the best but only choc and vanilla are sold in 24 packs. I hope this helps. I had the same question when I was pre-op.
