2 Year Surgiversary!!!!!
Happy Holidays everyone!!!!!
It has been so busy with all the changes going on in life! I barely have time to stop in, but when I looked at the calendar the other day, between scheduling all the holiday to do's and marking the day my son will return home for Christmas, I realized....OMG!!! It's been 2 years already!!!!
I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by...and here I am two years later and I'm still FAT! LOL! That is so hilarious to me! This has been the most fabulous experience of my life, second only to raising my son.
When I started out i was dreaming of one day being in a size 18 and that would be enough, if I could just get there! Secretly thinking well a 24 wouldn't be bad either. As of today I'm a size 18 in my designer jeans and still continuing to lose!
I'm absolutely amazed!!! I'm not at the end of my journey yet and here I am already at my original goal...and that's without even having my skin removed!
Although my weighloss has slowed to about 7-9 lb per month...it is totally ok with me, because eventually it will all come off or my body will tell me when I've done enough. But the most important thing to me is the quality of life I have obtained and how truly happy I am every day trying new things and feeling totally free and unrestrained!
I got a great new job, my son is coming home for the holidays and I finally got that pair of apple bottoms jeans I have always wanted...(a size 18 and they fit!!! As you can see...i'm still in love with clothing lol) I have wonderful friends and family. This holiday season I am truly filled with joy. My life is so much different than it was exactly 2 years today and I will be eternally grateful.
My tool is a forever gift never to be forgotten or unappreciated! I hope the season finds you truly joyful and able to appreciate the second chance at life that we have been given. Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones!
