My biggest problem is think out my meals before putting food in my mouth.

I not stupid.  I know what I suppose to eat.  I do try and eat healthy.  I actually have been eating healthy for years.  I can't tell you the last time I ate something fried.  I gave up Bread  and High carb foods a year ago.  I just  eat to much of the healthy stuff.  Portion control always seem to leave me hungry still.  Two week seem to along as I can stick to something.

I even tried fasting  liquid diet drinks.

Eating Healthy is expendsive.  I can't afford some expensive diet plan.

So now my doctor told to give up Cabohydrate drinks ,No sweeets and no  sweet -in- low and, all high carb white foods.

I totally feel out of control and lost.  Knowing what you are suppose to do and doing it are to different things.  How will be able to stick to this change for the rest of my life.

How do you make your self stop grazing and to keep to your diet.

Protein is very filling and the more you eat it- the less your cravings for the "white" stuff will attack you.

I'm on a very tight budget, but I put my health first and you can too.

Just focus on getting in the protein, don't waste any money on anything that's not meat or veggies,
drop anything that's liquid calories and you won't need any fancy diet plan.

Good Luck!

If I let simple carbs slip in, it fast becomes a slippery slope of wanting more! more! more!  And never being able to get full.

When I stick to a protein and produce diet with complex carbs on occasion, I stay much fuller and my cravings also stay under control.

It is really hard effing work.  No bones about it!

I guess being honest with yourself and realizing how much you really eat.   Is the first step to changing your life.  Eating is not the problem. It is how much I get and the ways in which I eat it.

I was in the same boat as you, eating healthy but eating too much all the time. I do plan out my meals, but portion control leaves me grouchy and hungery, EVEN on low carb.  Now that I've had the VSG things are a lot better for me.
