Have a "wacky-day plan."

Life is not always predictable. You wear a new fall sweater to work and the temperature climbs to 80 degrees. You plan a weekend away, and you get the flu. For WLS patients, unexpected events can ruin a good plan for the day. For example, you get delayed by a client, and by the time you finally get home you are so hungry you choose a quick, refined carbohydrate to eat.

When you get hit with a wacky day, have in place a "wacky day plan" so you don't get off track. For example, some people keep the fixings for a protein drink in their car for emergency situations.

Action for the day: Make a "wacky-day plan." What will you do to protect your healthy way of life when something unpredictable happens?

I was just thinking about this recently.  So I got tuna packets and put them in our car, and one for our diaper bag.  I have also stashed oh yeah! bars (the small ones) if different places.
