life at 5 months out (with a few pics) xpost

Yesterday was my 5 month surgery anniversary. I have lost 92 pounds and over 110 from my heaviest weight. I feel like a new person. These are the changes I have seen:
     I have lost 30% of my total body weight
     I have lost 52 total inches
     Went from 10 tablets of BP meds to 2
     I went from a tight 32 (mail order mostly) to a 22
     a 4/5X to an XL
     I can cross my legs, tie my shoes, find my collarbones, and am amazed by my emerging lap

There have been great times and tough moments, but this journey is far more amazing than I could have imagined. I will be running my first 5k on Saturday, and even if I finish last, I am grateful that I WILL FINISH! I had no idea that life could feel like this.
