I had a protein shake in the morning, another shake for lunch, then 4-6 oz of protein, usually chicken or steak, and a small serving of a dark green leafy veggie. It took six months and I lost 58 pounds.
My highest weight was 504lbs. I lost 25lbs prior to surgery and was 479lbs day of surgery. My surgeon thought they might have to do an Open but when was able to do it Lap. I think you need to shop for another surgeon also. Good Luck !! and... Don't give up!! It's sooooo worth it :)
