i was taking 5 injections of insulin a day before my surgery last week  (i never thought i could do it back wheni was told i had to but you get used to it)  they really don't hurt that much, they are just a pain to do everyday.  I will say this though since my surgery my numbers have been between 100 - 110 and i have not had to take any insulin injections since the surgery

That's great that you've been able to stop the injections and are getting such good numbers.  I met with my nutritionist today and when I asked her what numbers I could expect to see all she said was "really good ones" .. lol

what kind of insurance are you using?   I want to have the surgery but, I don't know
which insurance to apply for. . . . . . . .My BMI is around 48
