 Make "right decisions" a goal.

Do you set goals and track your progress? It's a well-known fact that you are more likely to reach a goal if you write it down and monitor your growth.

If you've been struggling to make good choices, make "making good choices" your goal. Create a chart, and put a star or other positive symbol on the days you make good and healthy choices. By tracking your right decisions, you'll see them increase.

Action for the day: Make a "right decisions" chart. In your journal, start a list of the right decisions you make. Looking back on the challenges you have overcome will inspire you.

MOLLY !!!!!   You are so on the Spot with your messages.   I was doing so great with my pre op 4 shakes and one meal plan from the surgeons office I almost sent a NSV message with my friday vistory moment.... then Sunday happened.  I live alone and do my weekly cooking on Sunday and this Sunday I started eating and did not stop till I ate a whole big meal.  Yikes.  I did stop and did not eat really bad stuff I do not cook that now but way too much for a "healthy" meal.  My plan for mext Sunday is to make a plate sit down and eat and no more for that one meal.  The problem today is I ate while I was cooking and did not measure or weight the amounts of food I ate.  I do so good during the week as I measure out my meal and pack it to eat at work.  Shales during the day and fruit for a snack at bedtime. Luv ya girl.. My nephew just moved off the Chicago lakefront where he had a condo across from the boat club near lincoln park zoo. I grew up in Joliet, IL now in St Louis, MO area.  - Maja

Sorry for the typos I am not weaking my glasses tonight.  From my above post , Another plan is to write things down I do good for me and not so good during the day to have a record of when I make bad choices.  Food and movement types. As for my NSV it was this...I had to go to the ladies room in a hurry lots of water that day.  And the one handicapped stall was in use and in the past I did not fit very well in the "regular" stalls.  I did Friday and had some room to spare.  Pulled up the very loose granny pants and went on my way with a smile on my face.  I do not have o scale so I do not know what I have lost but I am feeling, moving and fitting in better.  Still a BMI  of  >70 trucking along.   Maja

Keep up the good work Maja and congrats!!!  One day at a time.  Consistency is grand, not perfection since nobody is perfect anyways.  Have a good week!!  Persevere, patience and positive!  You are doing great and you can do it!!
