YEAH!  I hit the 150 lbs down milestone about a week ago and I'm still glowing from it!  I've been on vacation for two weeks, which is why the absence.  Let me tell you, traveling is a million times easy with this weight loss.  It's easier to move around, it's easier to fit into places, it's easier to pack more stuff (Size 32W's take up a LOT of luggage space!)

Hope everyone else is doing well!

I am just trucking along. The OH conference gave me a whole new set of obstacles to anticipate and ponder. But, for now, I will focus on the positives. I am officially down 25% of my total start weight and I think I have lost close to 50% of my excess weight so far. I see my surgeon Fri. to get back my 3 month blood work. I have had the spins a lot lately and hopefully they can figure that out too. Have a great week.

I did well with exercise last week, but this week is off to a slow start.

Got bit by one of the cats on Saturday trying to break up a confrontation. Stupid me. Last time that happened it got nasty, so I went in to Urgent Care and got an antibiotic. On Sunday afternoon the patch on my right leg where I've had cellulitis before started to flare up, but I figured it was no ER-worthy.

Had to go NPO starting Sunday night for my ITT yesterday, and not having pain meds for the cellulitis had me in tears. I wasn't sure if they could still do the ITT with my system under stress from the infection, but not only did they do it, by they gave me extra IV fluids and my new endocrine guy called an infectious diseases collegaue and changed my antibiotic. I've got a serious doctor crush on this guy - he's very House-like but not irrascible, at least not to me!

Not hungry at all though.

Still feeling a bit poorly, either from the test or the cellulitis. Home sick today. I'll update my blog later about the ITT, but as of now I can just describe the experience. I'll get results later.

250 was my weight yesterday...today down to 249 but I have been going back and forth from 249 to 251 the past couple of weeks.  I saw my family doctor yesterday for some unrelated issues and she said that typically anyone losing 100 lbs will hit a stall, no matter where they start.  Not sure if she was trying to make me feel better or what.  Sick of the 250 though!

Hope everyone has a great week!

slowly chugging along...

Got the happy Nurse Karen to chat with Surgeon Scheduler Steven - so I get to finally be examined by Dr Hunter, on Sept 20, 2010 -- may actually get this damn thing under way before 2011 -- but will not get the surgery before my 43rd Birthday.

I am being well behaved, food journal, exercise, water, protein, weighing in weekly at doctors' office, so maybe I'll get a pat on the head & say, "Whose been a good girl???"  Hahaha!  This has been the hardest weight loss I think I have ever experienced.  Staying the course!

Brenda,

Sounds like you are doing great. You'll be ready when you get surgery and do fantastic.

Hi All!
I am still plateau'd around 239 but hope that the scale will drop as I up my protein and cut out some of the carby things I have been eating.  I have been noticing the loose skin piling up on my inner thighs. Ugh!    Can't wait for the blessed day I can have a breast reduction.  The girls are killing my back.   I haven't lost too much there.

I am still struggling getting back to my excercising regularly since vacation.  Ughh!  I took a mile and a half walk yesterday, though, and plan to walk two miles today.  Everyone have a great week!
