I like jerky too much - when I have it, it disappears...

I am still learning about the VSG - I see you are over 6 months out - how long have you been able to eat dense protein like jerky? Do sleeves have that problem? Or is it an individual thing?

Feeling worse than doo doo...  Today was supposed to be my unoffical weigh in day, but just couldn't muster the will to go to the doctors office.  Have been swimming & walking, light weights when watching "boob tube". Then, if things could not already be worse, my period made an ugly appearance.

Working on an attitude adjustment, keeping myself in check & NOT cheating, and holding my tongue - lest I say something I will regret.  Looking forward to tomorrow, and hoping the Pacific Northwest will start seeing SUNSHINE again -- it's been raining & gloomy, not to mention COLD!

I promise to be more positive!  I will, I can, I must!  Ugh, I feel like the perverbial Monday...

Doesn't the non-summer we're having in the pacific NW suck? I am not getting enough sunshine.

On the scale - I used to hate having to truck over to either my doctor's office or the bariatric center to get weighed. One more barrier to overcome to progress.

Boy, this was meant to be inspiring, but isn't. Can you kick my ass too while you are at it?

Patty - I am laughing!  Which is positive ;)

The Pacific Northwest "Summer" is almost non-existent.  We have just finished three days of rain, it's been cold, and we may see upper 80's by the weekend, followed by more cold & rain!  It is messing with my internal barometer!!!

As for the schlepping to the Bariatric Office for weigh ins -- "woot! woot!"  I put it off yesterday, but drove there today.  Ugh.  I gained HALF a POUND, but going to chalk it up to water retention - I just started my period yesterday.  I have about 15 pounds to go until I can get the scale I have had my eye on.

As much as I felt like giving up this week, I am refusing the urges.  Tomorrow I have a Group Support Meeting, and going to put my best foot forward.

Hey Patty, how about some sort of challenge between the two of us - something positive & fairly easy?  Something that is a win-win deal.

HUGS!!!

Sounds good to me. I had a rough week at work so something I can achieve will be welcome!

Hey Peggy! Glad to hear what you are up to. I know you will in good hands at Geisinger.

You are going through so many changes and handling them well. Your Dad's place sounds lovely - I once stayed on a friend's family cabin up near Loyalsock and it is beautiful! You any where near there?

Keep in touch!
