Anyone ever have an ITT?
I just started seeing an endochronologist at my shrink's recommendation. I think working with him will be a valuable line of inquiry. I'm scheduled for an ITT - Insulin Tolerance Test. When the doc described it, it sounded interesting, but I'm a little disturbed by the Wikipedia entry about it being potentially dangerous.
Anyone have any experience with this test?

I've never had one. I hope it is over quickly and they learn a lot.
However, I never trust Wikipedia completely. (I mentor newbie technical writers and cringe when they say anything about Wikipedia.)
You probably already know this, but try to find other sources.

Good point, Patti!
My step-son spends way too many hours editing anime entries on Wikipedia. He *may* be an expert on anime, but I'm sure that there are plenty of self-inflated "experts" making dubious medical entries too..
The doc did say that I should take the whole day off, as I might now feel great afterwards because of the low blood sugar events they precipitate. And I will be monitored. I just got a little scared...
