Weekly Check In - Not just for post ops

Since Patti hasn't started this thread yet, I'll get it going.

Exercise: Swam 3 times, as hot as it was, I should have done more.  3x is an improvement, tho.

Start: 450
LW 388
TW 386

I'm tired and we've had a hot spell. Even on my diuretic, my feet still swell a bit. Needing more rest due to the reduced cals now that I went back on Medifast. THat's OK, as I seem to lose well when I get lots of sleep.

Yep, I was a slacker this week. My gain was making me procrastinate. Thanks for keeping me honest Patty!!!

Starting Weight: 388 (May 2008)
Last Week: 242
Today: 244

For the most part, I despise summer. I'm going to San Francisco this weekend where's it's a wonderful, chilly 64. SOOOOO looking forward to wearing long sleeves and jeans.

Have a great week, YOU WONDERFUL LOSERS!!

I sort of suspected no thread meant frustration with Mr. Scale.

I was amazed that after a week on MF I didn't lose more, but I'm OK with just getting started on it again.

Enjoy SF! Clay will be jealous - he's from the Bay Area.

Oh Patti, I've got you beat girl.

Starting wt:  380
Surgery wt:  344
Last week:  237
This week:  242!!!!!!

That would be my escalating range of emotions.  I guess the 8 lb loss really was too good to be true.  It's possible I was dehydrated, though I'm not sure how since I pretty much drank more water while traveling than I even do at home.

The only other possibility I can think of is that I went from the most relaxed week I've had in a loooooooooooong time to the most stressed out week I've had in awhile.  Things that make ya go "hmm."

Tomorrow's another day.  Damnit.  And I refuse to update my signature.
Highest:  380 / Surgery Day:  344 / Current:  203.8 / Goal:  ~180 / Total Loss:  176.2

It's funny how our bodies hold on to and then let go of water. I really do think stress causes retention...

And now you are poised for a loss next week!

Wow, look at you go!

I've been thinking about Zumba, as I see it now offered at my club. How fit do I need to be to try it?

Zumba is fun! I just stand in the back and modify the motions to fit my level. I don't spin if they spin (only occasionally) and I don't put the "hoppy pep" in my step that they do. (knees wouldn't take it) I just do what I can. =) It is getting easier and I can tell that it is a terrific workout. (the hardest part is getting the motions down for those of us who have a little less rhythm.)
