Wow, I was psyched at my GYN's office when the scale read 209...two weeks ago it was 214! Not only hadn't I experienced a nice drop in more than two months, but now the coveted Onederland is so within reach! I'd been prescribed three rounds of a powerful oral steroid for a clogged right ear that seemed to wreck havok with my weight loss, period, and puffed my face up. Glad that toxic drug and its aftereffects are gone!

So maybe I will reach Onederland this summer after all! I've now lost 181 lbs. since 3/31/09 RNY; my motivation's re-activated!

That is great!  I am a little less than 9 lbs away from the 200's.  Pretty excited about that too!

50 lbs lost pre-op-the rest is post op.

WOW!!!   You are a miracle - it is so great to hear that.  I have a goal of 220 (from my surgeon), so I may not ever make onederland, but if I got even that close, i'd be THRILLED!!!!

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

Thanks, friends! Sure do wish that the glorious honeymoon period of rapid meltdown could last for another six months, but oh well...I always take heart when a former very high BMIer continues to lose after one year post-op; and sometimes reaches skinnytown! While I don't aspire to be "thin," I'd love to be in Onederland wherever the scale decides to settle. We shall see what we shall see...

Everybody's triumphant on this board, and don't forget it! It's just that certain milestones are incredibly monumental, especially since we often never truly thought we could/would reach them...ya know?
