Yellow teeth since surgery

I am so thankful to have this forum to ask these "different" questions.  I am about 11 months out of surgery and with the help of my honest 7 year old daughter am realizing my teeth are getting really yellow.  I don't do caffeine or anything like coffee or tea.  Any thoughts??? I didn't know if this could be a possible post surgery thing or it's just me.  Thanks for any input.

Might be a good idea to go to the dentist. Mine have yellowed a lot, but I've been pounding the tea since surgery.

Good luck!!

Teeth yellowing or looking translucent is usually caused by vitamin deficiency.  Have you had you blood checked lately?  Your body is probably not getting enough Calcium, so it leeches it from your teeth & BONES.  The later is scariest, so have your levels checked ;)

I am almost a year out and have my levels checked every three months and to date they have all been good, but that was my initial thought.  Thanks for the suggestion.
