I Want My Panni to Shrink Faster

Hi All,

I am about 6.5 months out and have lost 95 lbs since I went pre-op.  So much of my excess weight is in my tummy.  My butt is kind of small but my stomach hangs down my thighs.  It has shrunk some-- I went from a size 28 pants to a 22.  That's great but my tummy is still huge.  There is still considerable room for it to shrink since I have at least 80 more pounds to lose to be really thin.
I would love to hear from others who have or have had a pronounced panni.  How much did it shrink over time?  Sometimes, I feel like mine is just as big and stretched out as when I started this journey.  I know I will have to have plastics down the line as the skin is like that classic deflated beach ball.
TIA,
Pen

I'm coming up on 8 months out and I echo what you wrote.  But, realistically I've gone from a very tight 32W to an 18.  My gut HAS shrank, it's just that it's still jiggly and gross that bothers me.  And I thin****il I have surgery, it'll likely always be that way, even closer to my goal weight.  Gotta save those pennies :)

My panni is the reason why I'm 147ish pounds down and still wearing 22/24 pants. On top, I'm wearing an 18, but could probably go smaller except that I try to cover my panni with my tops.

I'm gonna sound like a broken record -- but everyone is different.

The last time I lost this amount of weight my panni was there, but it was less than an inch thick and still up on my body. This time it's a good 2 inches thick and running at least 4 inches down on each thigh.

Let's hope together that our pannis will shrink. But I definitely see plastics in my future.

Good luck!!
