Surgery is in 15 days. The docs office called today to tell me he wants a colonoscopy done before surgery.

They got the results from the biopsy back from my endoscopy and I had the kind of polyps that is prompting him to do a colonoscopy. I have had a colonoscopy before about 10 years ago so I suppose I would rather get it over with so I don't have to worry about it anytime soon after surgery. Just don't want to go through another test but oh well, I guess that is just the way it goes. Rather be safe than sorry I suppose. Anyone else deal with this right before surgery?

I didn't have to get a colonoscopy.

But you're right when you say you won't have to worry about it postop.

Hopefully they'll give you the good drugs!

There always seem to be surprise 'steps' to take before surgery. Hopefully you are done quickly and easily and have your surgery as scheduled! Here you go!!
