NSV: Flight simulator

Yesterday I climbed into the ****pit of an F-18 simulator, with a teeny bit of room to spare.

Preop I wouldn't have even tried.

I'm loving the things I can do with my new body!!

JUST GREAT, Patti! It is a joy to see all the things we can do. I still can't believe I go into situations I would have dreaded, knowing I'll be able to find a chair that will fit (even a booth now!) and that I'll be able to get up.

I still have a long way to go, some of it is confidence that I can do those things, but it's coming along nicely. The rewards of the surgery PLUS the hard work we do to make it work.
