Elation and apprehension
I proabably spelled that wrong, but that's okay. It's friday and I don't have to worry about grammer or punctuation if I don't want to. lol
OK, I am out 5 weeks now, total lost about 65 lbs!! I can't tell you the last time I was this low, but it had to be before my boys were born. :D So I am elated at that.
But I have noticed sometimes, I don't feel a sense of fullness like I do other times. It seems to depend on what I eat, but it makes me scared I eating too much? Does how full the pouch is depend on how solid the food?
Just makes me nervous, I wanna make sure I use the tool right, but also working my tail off to get my protein in. I don't wanna overstretch my stomach, but if I feel a sense of full I stop immediately. It's a different full feeling, but you know what I mean...and with some foods I don't get it.
I also hit a stall, and thought OMG the surgery isn't working! But it has since picked up again!!
Hope your all doing weel.

Congrats on the amazing weight loss, cruzksu!! I haven't had my surgery yet, but I have read that others say that you can't eat as much dense protein (meat) as you can other things. Apparently some things go down so easily they are called "sliders"... I am sure someone with some experience will answer though!
You're doing great!
Somedays I can eat a lot, some days not so much. The dense protein thing is totally true. Sometimes I can't eat as much it's because I'm (TMI) stopped up. Other times, maybe a little dehydrated. I always seem to be able to eat more if I'm exercising regularly.
Also, I have some slider foods that just don't register. They just go through. Right now, popcorn and Dreamfield's macaroni (low carb) do that.
When you're having those kind of days, you have to be really careful about the amounts you eat. I was a volume eater preop, so I try to watch it.
Good luck!!

One food makes you larger, and one food makes you small...
Sounds like you're doing great!!! on the days where you feel like you can eat more, make sure you measure your food. This way you won't worry that you are eating too much or stretching your stomach. Dense protein does fill you up faster. I've found that my eating varies from day to day. some days things go along as scheduled and others i can literally take two bites and say ok, it's not going to happen right now. You will learn to listen to your body, but if you're not sure, just continue to measure!
