Hi guys...haven't been on in a long time
Just wondering if anone had had a paniculetomy (sp?) and had their surgeon do the newer one with the large capital I shaped incison...under th bust, across the hip and a line connecting. I am haviing this done Friday the 25th and am wondering how bad the recovery is...do I really need the recliner again? I have one in the living room but was considering putting one in m bedroom for sleeping. I don'tt see the surgeon til a day befpre so i'm not sure. He didn't tell me at the prior appts.
PS ~ I am down to 179 now...OMG. I love this tool
Hope everyone is doing GREAT!

I don't know a thing about it - but I just wanted to wish you luck! HOW exciting is this??? who knew it could be so great. You give me hope. I still have so far to go. I'm down 110, but still have another 70 to go. I have been in a stall lately, but still know I'll go further.

Congratulations on your weight loss Stella. You have accomplished quite a bit!! You have to update your ticker--you lost 310 pounds!!
I just had breast reduction surgery (not the same thing) but I slept on my recliner couch for the first 2 nights because I couldn't lay flat really easily. I felt better after a few days because my butt was getting sore from the recliner and I can sleep on pillows under my body and my head at about 30 degrees up.
Did you get insurance coverage for this? I'm thinking about this at some point but I decided to do the reduction because that was the most pressing issue at this point. My surgeon took 6 pounds off so that should give you an idea of what I had to compress when exercising, etc.
