EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO POST HERE!

Preop, postop, nonop. We need to own up to what the scale sez to move on.

Starting Weight: 388 (May 2008)
Last Week: 245
Today: 249.99999 (YUK)

I hit the salt pretty hard this past weekend and I'm seeing it today. I was lucky to get my left shoe on this morning. I'm banning ham from the house for a while.

The good news is that the treadmill I was going to buy went on sale and it's supposed to be delivered this week. So, no more excuses, Patti!!

I'm thinking I'll put it in the living room. My hubbie will hate that. But I can watch TV while I do it. My current tv crush is Mike Holmes on HGTV. So I can walk, jog and watch Mike make things right.

Have a great week!!!

I think I have hit my first stall.  I am 4 weeks out today so that seems to be typical.  My question is, how long does it usually last?  Another note, I think I am going to have my husband hide my scales and only pull them out for Monday morning weigh in.  I get on them way too much and it is very frustrating with a week like this.

At about a month out, I stalled for 36 days. But it varies for everyone.

If you're getting bummed about it, you're right on with hiding the scale and weighing only once a week.

It is a good opportunity to evaluate if you're making all your supplement/protein/water goals. But sometimes your body just needs time.

Thanks-I watch the diet the dr. gave me pretty closely and follow it-though I still struggle getting all of my protien I am better than I was.  Besides that, I am following the rules.  I think it is a stall-I hope it doesn't last for 36 days!  That must have been awful.

Day of surgery - 302
Last week - 222.2
Today - 221.8

I'm so frustrated. I hit 220 on Saturday 6/5 but have been bouncing around it (and 100lbs lost) for weeks.

220 is a huge number for me because it's my drivers licence weight and I'm so looking forward to being below it. It's like I'm against a 220 wall.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Gawd, I know how this one feels sis. My drivers license sez 240. When I keep bouncing down to 244, it is sooooo close.

Keep pluggin' along! It'll happen (when we least expect it!)

Ugh!  I hate it when this happens... I'm right there with ya, but it's the 240's I'm trying to break into.  Looks like the "1.8" haunted both of us this week LOL  Here's hoping for a nice WI next week for us both!

I'm living the nomadic life for a while until I can settle into a new place next week- so I have no scale access. I'm dreading what it says though as I've been eating waaay to many carbs and only got to the gym once last week!.

I don't anticipate anything good- but once this week is over I'll be able to get back into my routine and get my butt back into gear!

The nomadic existence sucks! It's just too easy to justify bad choices.

Enjoy your new digs!! (And may it be nowhere near a bakery!)

I agree- I will be happy to forgo the couch and sleep in my bed- and get these delicious carbs away from me!
