I do my weigh-ins on Wednesdays as that is the day I had my surgery . . . I just calculated it, and I finally have a BMI that is "only" morbidly obese. I started as super super morbidly obese with a BMI of almost 80, so I'm getting somewhere!!!

I also had a wow moment . . . I bought some shorts I thought would fit and they were too large, much too large. I asked my husband if I should get one or two sizes smaller, and he said two. Well, I thought I bought smaller than I did and went back and got 3 sizes smaller. And guess what? They fit. I like my clothes a bit looser, but to put something on in a much smaller size than you've seen in ages is fun. I also only weigh 58 pounds more than DH. The closest I have been in weight to him is 80 pounds, and he has lost weight too, so that's kind of cool.

It's weird the little games the mind plays. I also realized that DH and older son together weigh more than I and the younger son together. I admit I thought of it because we were boat shopping and I always remember my father giving me a hard time, being the fat kid in the family, that I was making the boat tilt.

That is awesome!

50 lbs lost pre-op-the rest is post op.

It's always great to lose an adjective!

Congrats!
