pain in abdomen

started when I was bending, now when I stand I can feel a sharp pain in my left part of my abdomen... when I am sitting it's just fine.  This happen to anyone??  Just a little pulled muscle?  I had the laparoscopic bypass on 5/19.  Worried that it could be hernia, but I don't see any bulges or anything.  Maybe just need to rest, but I am supposed to go back to work on Wed.  :(

For about a month post-op I got stabbing pains on the upper left.  It was explained to me that that was the most frequently used port for lap instruments during the surgery.  From what I've read here it's pretty common.  But always consult with doc. if you're concerned. 

 Thanks Michele!  That is where I got these stabbing pains last night.  But I rested and it went away, thank God!  Hopefully it stays away too.  :)
