Teresa S. Update & Complications

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry I didn't get on the board to update Teresa's progress yesterday, but I was in bed all day with a migraine and my vision leaves where i cannot see to do anything.

So anyway, Teresa did call me last night with not so good news.  At first the doctors thought that it all went well and the pain would just take time to ease up due to inflammation, but her pain kept getting worse and worse, almost unbearable, so they upped her pain medicine and still no relief. They did another MRI and found that the new screw that they attached to her spinal bone was like crooked almost sticking out sideways  and the bone around it was very brittle.  

Teresa need prayers, lots of prayers, I have got a prayer chain going at my church, it you have any kind of a prayer chain you can do, please do so.  I have not talked with her today, but when I talked with her last night I could tell by her voice that she was in quite alot of pain.  She's trying to be so strong but she will not know anything else until Monday or maybe Tuesday with Monday being a holiday.  Her husband is right there with her and will not leave her side.

She checks the OH board once in awhile so if you just want to say hi, I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

Sorry to hear of these glitches to relief. Those docs better get it right! I sincerely hope that when you leave the hospital, Teresa, you will be on your way to relatively pain-free living as you deserve. Sending you the most positive vibes from S FL; huGz.

Oh my god, I winced in pain just reading this.  What the hell is up with these docs?  Grrr!
