lost paperwork.....

they lost all my paper work and all the approvals and i have been waiting and waiting and i finally called back and they said sorry but we didnt know you were lost and waiting..WHAT THE HECK??
              SO now they want me to start all over with docs approvals and tests and seminars and since some of the paper work i have is expired i have to pay double now..so im so angry
and i am going to try and do it my way now..i am so fustrated at everything that i cant even think straight...

I am so sorry you have to start over from scratch again.  I just can't imagine ur frustrations.  I know when I was going thru my process, i photocopied everything I could get my hands on just incase something like this was to happen.  Once the smoke clears, restart the process and know in the end, it will have been worth all the frustrations your going thru.  Nothing good is ever easy......

I'm so sorry!  Who lost the paperwork?  The surgeon's office or the insurance company?

I bet you may not have to re do as much as you fear.  Call the places where you had the tests done and have them fax the results to where ever they need to go.  OR, go there and pick up paper copies so you can keep a copy for yourself.  Even if your bloodwork was so long ago that you have to redo some or all of it, still get copies of it for them to proceed with now in case it takes a while.  Then, once you are on the way, you can have the 2nd set done closer to surgery so that you don't run into the possibility of having to have a 3rd set in case your surgery date is far out.

As far as your seminar goes, they should have seminar sign in sheets for everyone.  And, if they don't then I think you should raise a fuss and they should agree to take your word for it because the mistake is theirs!

I wish you good luck in getting the mess straightened out.  I've had to deal with similar things and I know how frustrating it can be!
