Here is the latest update on Teresa S,

Her husband texted me at 1:27 pm when she got out of surgery and was in recovery.  She lost very little blood and was able to retrieve all of the old except 1 little screw part but it's in bone and secure, her progress looks great.  The doctor was very pleased with the surgery.

Teresa and her husband wanted to express all of everyone's thoughts and prayers.

On a personal note, I just was to say thatTeresa is my best friend, and I believe that with all of our thoughts and prayers on the OH board and God watching over on her made all the difference in the world. We need to continue to pray for her as she will have a time of recovery to go through.

Thanks again for the update... I'll keep her in my thoughts throughout this process.  I so admire her strength and diligence... she's in the hospital and yet posting about getting her protein in :)  Such a good post-op!  Please tell her we're sending virtual hugs!

Give her my best too--what a trouper she is.

She will get through this too.  She has overcome so many hurdles and shouldn't have more to overcome but she will do it.  It is fortunate that she lost the weight before this happened because her recovery would be that much more difficult.  I noticed she was posting her food and exercise right up to going to the hospital too.  What an inspiration to us all-we all can learn from this, especially pre-ops.

Lots of prayers, hugs and good wishes.

Sylvia
