Teresa S. Update

Hi, I talked with Teresa today, she said it looks like she will be having major surgery on Thursday afternoon.  All of the old hardware in her back has collapsed and the next disc up is degenerated and needs to be stabilized  too.... surgery will probably be 5-1/2 hours long.  Her legs are not lifting at all now ... no walking, but they increased the pain meds so she is not in such pain all the time but it wipes her out.

She also wanted everyone to know the news on her new weight status.
Starting weight 303
Surgery weight 235
last week 186
week of 5/24 179

They have her on meds for anxiety so she's not so upset, she is very scared which is normal. Please keep her in your prayers as I  and her know you will.

I will update as soon as I hear something.

I will be praying.  Let her know our thoughts are with her.

50 lbs lost pre-op-the rest is post op.

I feel so bad for Teresa S--she has overcome so much to get this surgery and has inspired me as I continue my journey.

Lots of hugs and prayers for Teresa S.  I had an opportunity to chat with her with the new feature and it was really nice to have that interaction with her.

Thanks again for the update, keep 'em coming.  Much love and hugs to her.

(I did smile at the fact she wanted her weekly WI to be shared.  Funny how nothing will stop us from that!)

Many prayers going out to our Teresa. Let her know she is loved and lifted up!!!
Although this really stinks now....imagine how much worse it would have been at 303.
