5/24 Weigh-in: Howz it goin?

Starting Weight: 388 (May 2008)
Last Week: 246
Today: 246  (but I realllllly was 244 late last week)

My quarterly freakout can now begin: I go to my surgeon's office for my weigh-in tomorrow. If I can stay at 246 I'll be happy. I'll be happier if I can get back to 244. I'll be dancin' in the waiting room if I can get under 244.

Of course, it's all relative. His scale will probably be 10 pounds more than mine at home.

Have a great week!!

Surgery weight (3/15/10) 269
Last Week: 230
Today 226.
I've got to stay off the scale during the week. I was frustrated all week cause the scale did not move until the weekend. I would have been perfectly happy if I had just weighed this morning!
I had some blood work drawn this week, should have results soon. I sure hope my A1C is alright for me to stay off of my diabetes meds!

Surgery Weight 347
Last week 345.6
Today 334.4

Unbelievable!  I start eating this week though, cannot wait.  So I am sure this will slow down.

50 lbs lost pre-op-the rest is post op.

I don't understand my body at all, but I'm not complaining (this week):

SW: 330
LW:  185
Today:  179.4

Do you think surgeons are more reluctant to set a "goal weight" for those with starting BMI over 50?

My doc won't discuss weight at all outside of the percentage of EBW.  I find this so frustrating!
I have tried to set my own goal and I have no idea if it's realistic or not.  I know there's no magic crystal ball, but dangit - I sure want one!

Someone on another forum said "it's like wanting to skip to the last page in the book, but the last page is missing"!

My doc's goal is 208. His is based on what his office considers a success.

Mine is 150 because that's a normal BMI. But I have no problems changing it later -- and I'm guessing that I probably will.

SO, I recommend picking yourself a number and shooting for it. You can always change it later.

Surgery weight - 340 (Aug. '09)
Last week - 214
Today - 213

I pound- ugh... well I'll take it. I really want to be down under 200 in the next two weeks!

It's been hard because my partner and I are breaking up. I've been so sad and stressed- I just wanna EAT! Emotional eating has reared it's ugly head, but I'm trying to keep the monster at bay but it's been very rough...
