ok so..... i went for my consultation for panni removal and hernia repair... the doc did some digging in my medical records an come to find out my highest recorded weight was.............................. 510          and im down 220  lbs total... hows that for a fricken awesome find....anyhow... hes an amazing surgeon i have seen his seminars... im so excited... just waiting on approval from insurance.. but it said its near 99% approved.. but didnt want to give me a guarentee... and i will have a copay of around $3200 due in full 2 weeks pre-surgery... but omg it will be so worth it... he said he will be removing at least 25 lbs of excess skin from my tummy i just wanted to share with u all...  it will be a double surgery with 2 surgeons.. one to repair my hernia an then the plastics... hes gona do a corset procedure...  where they make an incision just under the breast area then straight down... where i already have a scare from my open RNY and then from hip to hip so a capital I    im not so concerned about the scar... i am concerned i could lose my belly button tho that has me a lil rattled... but i know it can happen an have known a few that it has happend to an they dont miss it at all...

heres my surgeons website... and a patients b4 and after simular to mine.. or i mean what mine should be... u know what i meant... the doc said very simular body share etc... well its 1am im off to bed.. check the link i think its an amazing transformation...

Wow!  transforming.  I am without a belly button after hernia surgery a couple of years ago.  It's no big deal.

Good Luck. I go in on tuesday for panni removal, but lift and and anchor cut on my upper tummy. My copay was $4700. which I put on a credit card. I want this too.

I wish you success. Oh and how did you loose so much so fast. I weighed 468 when I started and am down to 201 today. I had surgery 10/1/2007 with many stalls. Wow you have done awesome. Good for you!!!!

I just got approved for a breast reduction which is scheduled for June 10th.  I can't even tell you the cup size but I got like H or I from Roamans and am now down to a DDD or G and want to get down to a D.  That is in case I lose these last 40 pounds and I don't want to look deflated.

My plastic surgeon told me that I would have no problem but I had no idea that it would be approved as quick as it was.  I went for the consult on April 21st, they finished submitting on line at 2:45 p.m. CST on 4/26 and I got a phone call at 8:00 a.m. CST on 4/27 from my insurance company that I was approved.  I promptly scheduled the surgery and am getting my ducks in a row for short term disability at work.

I still have my gallbladder and a panni that makes me about a size or two bigger in pants but I refuse to wear Spanx with shorts or capris in the summer.  I'm hoping that maybe I can get the two together at some point.

You are doing so well Peggy--how is your husband doing?  I hope he is doing better and he can help you out once again.  That is what it is about.

Sylvia

This is such a sensitive subject for me. I admire you for doing it!!! I am simply scared of the thought. I have heard how long the surgery can last, & I was thinking I would need the
anchor cut", because I was a heavyweight, & I question whether it is worth it for me. I will see once I get to goal. But I am SO excited for you!!!! I **WISH*** all our skin would just spring back!!! Hope to see pics!!!
