Terrible gas!  how do you get rid of it?

feels like it's after I drink anything or take my medicine.  I also learned you can't trust that it's just gas!

I feel the rumbles....uggg

WELCOME TO THE LOSER'S BENCH!!!

The GasX strips helped me some. But, for the most part, moving around is the best way to get rid of it. It will take a few days.

Sip, sip, sip. Walk, walk, walk.

Hope you're feeling better soon. For me, this stage was easier than the preop liquid diet.

Just stay close to the bathroom!   Sorry you are having "issues"  - - this too, shall pass!  LOL

Ugh, I hated that part!  I echo the "stay close to the bathroom" sentiment.  The first two weeks that's what I did.  The gas was terrible, but I found nothing helped much - just needed to wait it out.  Congrats on making it to the flip side!

thanks, so far today is shaping up...had me some water and jello.  But the rumble rumbles uggg.  it might have been my pain killer that did that, I am gonna have to make note.  And Yep I have stayed close to the bathroom.  It also helped to sleep in my own bed with my cpap last night.  :)

You were able to sleep in your own bed?  That is awesome!  I stayed on the couch for several days after I got home, and then the first few nights in my bed I moved to the couch.  It was better once they removed my staples this past Tuesday.  The gas gets better, I promise.  Great job!

Yes, I remember.  I stayed very close to a bathroom for the first few weeks.  That was a big reason I was off of work for 3 weeks.

Gas X strips help but this gas shall too pass (pardon the pun).

Hang in there--it gets better.

No words of wisdom, I am just a hopeful pre-op. But I just wanted to say that I hope your tummy plays nice soon and congratulations!
