TGIF!!!!!!  This weekend my kiddo has softball and then a solo competition for band... she's so nervous lol  It'll be a nice weekend.

Peggy, I'm so sorry for what you and your husband are going through with his health challenges.  I hope you'll start posting with me and Teresa and others on this daily thread to help with accountability.  It helps me a great deal to plan out each day.  Forget yesterday and start anew today with treating yourself well, ok?  (((hug)))

Drinks
Pro drink 1 (protein hot chocolate)

String cheese and 7 turkey pepperoni slices
1/2 c cottage cheese
1/2 c greek yogurt with sf cherry syrup and 1/4 c sliced strawberries
Cherry toamtoes
Sangria Sisters Grilled Balsamic Pork with Fruit Salsa

Exercise
Break night.  Last night I did 3.5 miles with 7 - 1min jogging intervals + one full lap jogging (1/4 of a mile = ~4-5min).  I can't believe I made it a full track lap jogging!

While it was technically a "Break night" - I did an hour and a half of serious gardening/wedding and was sweating more from doing that than my long walks with some jogging!

Michelle... sounds like you are going to have an exciting weekend.. enjoy...your doing good on jogging.. YAY...

Peggy.. sorry about hubby.. I am glad it was not another heart attack.. You are under so much stress.. I wish I knew how to tell you to get past it.. You have been so worried about him and taking care of him lately that you have put yourself on the back burner.. You have to take care of you too.. without you he would be in trouble too.. You need to focus on your needs.. you know where the track is.. head for it.. don't walk.. run.. you need to get back there and start again.. remember that we all will slip and fall but the main thing is to get back up and start again.. don't just lay there and let life pass by ... get up and grab life by the horns and run on track again..  I luv u and want the best for you.. but you have to love your self and want the best for yourself... I am rootin for you.... today is a new day..

Michelle.. I am not much better.. I spent yesterday at the hospital getting blood work done and doctor visits.. I have a severe sinus infection and pneumonia.. The steroids and antibiotics should take care of it but it will take time.. I have to wear a mask when I am outside now but I am suppose to stay inside as much as possible.. aaarrrgggg... I want to walk outside so bad...

Yesterday was a hard day to deal with eats and drinks.. Could not eat until after blood work and then it was all on the run.. I took yogurt and jerky with me and had BK low carb whopper for lunch.. and 93% fat free lean burger patty for dinner.. didn't get to count calories or proteins but today is another day and I can do better at home..

Hi ladies!
Today I am having protein drinks (as usual) for my protein. I will have 61 grams of protein form them.
For lunch I had a 1 ounce bag of peanuts. Dinner is chicken breast I have cooking in the crock pot. Sure makes it nice and tender and easy on me.
I'm still struggling with the exercise. Truth is, I just don't want to. Gonna have to get past that for sure.
Stress is rampant at the house, my MIL lives with us, has some mild dementia and is acting like a 2 year old so I am forced to treat her like a 2 year old and we are in a battle of wills. Every time I see her, my blood pressure goes up fearing the next encounter. Maybe exercise is just what I need!
