So, like, hi!

Just starting my journey and wanted to say hello.  I turned 45 last week and got my call that all my pre-surgery criteria has been met and I will be making my appointment to meet with my surgeon tomorrow. I'm scared but very excited! I'm probably going to do the gastric sleeve (vsg or whatever! I gotta learn this new language!)

Got a long way to go but ... I wanna SNOWBOARD, and nothing's gonna stop me, even myself!
I'm sure I'll be around a bit.

*Though I was a snowboarder at 340lbs- I was slow and tired easily, but I was up there! I'm sure by the time there's snow again- you'll have no problems!!!

Thanks for the welcome! I plan on going this winter! I really need to get in some shape though. I can barely walk down the street at the moment, so there's some work coming my way, but like you said, there's time!
