theres tons out there that dont have milk or require u to make them with milk... i personally use isopure protein waters.. the most.. ready made an great to keep on hand.. 40g of protien per 20 oz bottle... and body fortress why protien powder from walmart.. is great u can put it in coffee.. or jus****er an ice.. its better then some of the really expensive CRAP i have bought over the last yr..
I'm with Peg I love Isopure too! They also sell them in little 8oz bottles that I have for snack time! Though they get their protein from milk, so I don't know if they would give you an allergic reaction.
What about soy protein? I got some good vanilla stuff from Trader Joes...
Good Luck

Liane,
Thx so much for the ingredient list..ya may be a problem, it has total milk proteins and sodium caseinate- both are cow's milkproteins
also soy protein is very similar to cow's milk protein..sometimes makes me even sicker
so tried some protein powder that is whey protein and tummy is not too happy
will try brown rice protein powder next and then hemp protein to see which is better
so funny the docs only use Optifast but it uses old school aspartame*LOL* I think there is Meditrim that has no aspartame will try to find ingredient list for that one
being doin low carb, high protein- no carbonation-low sugar and low fat etc..10lbs in 2.5 weeks so far..need to step up the exercise to make things move along faster:-)
