Hope you can see the ticker. Unfortunately I am not feeling so well today - yesterday I had to go have a CT scan to make sure my appendix was not going bad. It wasn't and now they think I have a virus so I am in the just wait it out part of the program. I am tired and fevered but still this is a major milestone tht I worked 9 months to get to so I need some suggestions for how to celebrate. No food rewards, still to early to buy any expensive or outragous clothes - maybe jewelry. I thought about the spa but I am still not sure the robes will fit or the tables will hold me - how embarrassing would that be? Well.. any suggestions are welcome.

First, I hope you start to feel better really soon. Second, Congrats on making your first milestone!! How exciting!!
For a reward - what a about getting a manicure & pedicure? That is one of my favorite things :)
fresh new haircut or new hair colour
some new accesory, like a pretty silky summertime scarf or a new purse or whatever u fancy
some new makeup or go to the MAC counter and get your makeup done by a professional
mani and pedi's are GREAT or any other spa treat
new pair of good running shoes
a new book, movie or cd or a new journal
go out to the movies or a new show or theatre
do something really god for someone else, like make a donation in the amount of your weightloss so far
get a new tattoo or piercing*LOL*
just time to think outside the food box of rewards- I am compiling my own list for when I am post op, i guess i should do it pre-op too but this losing weight thing is taking up the last teeny tiny bit of freetime i had*lol*

When I got to 299 I went all out... several hours at the spa (massage, facial, hot oil treatment) and a new hairstyle with highlights. This was an expensive reward! LOL
When I get to 262.7 (which means BMI under 40 for me), I'm getting a microplane/zester LOL I know this sounds like a silly one, but I love to cook and love kitchen gadgets. Hopefully this will happen tomorrow!!!!!
When I get to 249.9 I plan to buy a bicycle rack for my car.
Here and there I will pick up things like bottles of nail polish, books, etc. when I hit another milestone, usually either 5 or 10 lbs lost. Those little treats go a long way for me.

First off let me congratulate you on loosing 100 lbs.. WAY TO GO...
That is a big big milestone and yes you are right you need a reward.. there are a lot of suggestions on here.. our frame of minds have a hard time thinking of rewards that are not food since that is how we always rewarded ourselves in the past but there are many.. you need to make a list so you have it to refer to when you are a places where rewards are called for..
I got a Pandora necklace at the beginning of my weight loss journey.... many get a bracelet but with my watch and emergency ID bracelet I had no room to show it off everyday.. so I got a necklace.. I have been adding a charm for every 20lbs I loose.. I try to make the charms meaningful for the weight loss.. my first one was a butterfly to mark the change I have faith in happening.. (see my quote in my signature). the next one was three angel wings.. one to represent me having two angels on OH and being an angel to them too. so that was three of us friends being angels so the three angel wings grouped together as one charm was perfect.. then I added a car charm for the next one as I had lost enough weight to be able to drive again for the first time in years.. the next one was the Chinese symbol of long life.. that is what I am achieving loosing this weight.. then for the 100lbs I added a beautiful silver cross right in the middle... The faith I had in God was such a help to get me to that 100lb mark and I wanted to proudly mark that faith ... so I have 5 charms so far on my necklace and all are dangle charms.. in between are spacer beads.. I do not count them.. I have had so many complements on the necklace and it makes me feel proud to wear it.. and I love when people ask me to explain the charms.. I have another 60 some lbs to go so I will get at least 3 more charms and I am hoping I can find ones with just as much meaning.. it will be a treasure I will own for many years and will remind me everyday of my accomplishments and what all I struggles through to get to my goal..
Good luck in your search for a reward.. I feel that they are a great important step in our being motivated to succeed.. most of us never rewarded ourselves before with anything but food so these rewards are special.. find one that has meaning for you..
huggs....
