Under 300lbs!
I am so very thankful to report that as of this morning, I am not only under 300lbs, but by a few lbs. It was so irrataiting and ironic at the same time, last night I weighed myself, I know better to do that but hey I have been working really hard to get under that 300lb part and have gotten no place in several weeks. So I weighed at night when I know better than to do that and what does the scale say....300lb's 0 oz...yeah thats right it couldent even give me that simple little once I was looking for. But this morning to my suprise I weighed in at 297lbs, that means that I a have lost 159 lbs sense my starting this journey in July of 2009, and 100ish lbs sense my operation on October of 2009, I still wish I was losing fater but I really dont know if I am on track or not, havent really been to the Docs sense like a month out, I know, I know, but I am uninsured and its like $500.00 a visit, I am planing on going to my 9month visit in the summer though. Well I hope all is well and that you all are droping the lbs too!
God Bless,
Melissa

Oh Melissa! That's such a sweet milestone! I remember when I got that milestone and it carried me through a lot of difficult days! I am so happy for your wonderful success and 100 pounds is almost exactly what I had lost at 6 months, so I think you're doing very well! WAY TO WORK THAT TOOL GIRL!!!

Congradulations Melissa! Just remember one thing..........it's totally natural for us women to gain like 5-10lbs during our monthly periods, and that can be so frustrating! I also have gone from 420lbs to about 297 now and it seems hard to keep it under that 300 mark! Well, between mother nature making her "monthly visits" and all that 70% off Easter candy, ........oh, life can be so cruel!!!!! Keep up the good work! Take care and God bless.
Do you see the glass as half empty or half full? I say, what difference does it make--I paid for a full glass,so either way I am getting jipped!!!
Congratulations, Melissa - that is wonderful!!!!!!!

Very good, Melissa...can relate to your elation at this milestone! Just remember, this life-changing journey is not a speed contest and our bodies will do what they will do at their pace...so enjoy the ride and celebrate each victory (there's lots of them).
Enjoy the weekend!

Oh, Melissa - That is SO great! Under 300 means lots of things are easier. Slower weight loss works, too! I weigh one pound less than you! We are both doing this and doing it well. You are dong great and losing faster than me! I'm fine with that. My body has it's rate, and I'm just going to keep going.
