Good Morning everybody..

It is a cold and rainy day here today.. I think I will be staying inside most of the day as I have developed a sore throat.. and a nice little cough..

Michelle is still out of town.. I sure hope someone else posts with me on this thread.. I hate being all alone.... this not only can help you plan for your day but can also help others who can not figure out what to eat.. you dont have to do all the math just list your eats/exercise plans..

Zumba sounds like so much fun.. I wish we had classes around here. I've searched but no such luck.. I may get a dvd and try to do it but it wont be the same as classes with a group..

By the way Teresa, I found myself some Turkey Pepperoni slices like you get and they are scrumptious!!  So low cal but with lots of protein!  Thanks for turning me onto that!  connie

Oh good..

.I make the chips in the microwave but I also take a piece of low fat turkey breast lunch meat from WalMart Great Value brand only 20 calories and lay about 7 pieces of pepperoni on it and then roll it around a mozz cheese stick.. and then heat in the microwave until the cheese melts some.. It is heaven like eating a pizza without the crust.. you can do so much with the pepperoni.. I am so glad you found it..

OK, this week I'm at a conference in Raleigh, so I'm kind of winging it.   Let's see how it goes:

B- I'm pretty sure those were powdered  eggs....could only manage a couple of bites - YUCK!
     3/4 slice of sausage
S- Protein shake
L- ~5 oz of grilled grouper (no taste whatsoever....)
    Green salad w/ about 1 oz cheese and 1/2 a ladle of vinagrette
S- ~ 1 oz mixed nuts (no salt)
D- KFC original recipe chicken breast fillet (pulled off the sandwich)
 

I think that brings my total to something like this (not being able to measure things):
Protein:  90-ish
Calories:  ~1100 (way too many calories!!)

Hmmm....I thought I was doing better than that. Gotta make some changes tomorrow.  I've gotta find food that doesn't involve powdered eggs, sausage, nuts or KFC!!  I went out and bought myself a small cooler this evening and I'll be packin' my stuff tomorrow!

Good Luck Connie... It is so hard to travel and eat right or exercise.. all you can do is the best you can.. next week is another week.. you will be fine..

By the way :

KFC has a grilled chicken breast that only has 180 calories and has 35 protein 0 carbs 4 total fat and 440 sodium.. The grilled drumstick has 70 calories 10 protein 0 carbs 200 sodium 4 total fat.. the grilled thigh has 140 calories 15 protein 0 carbs 320 sodium and 9 total fat..

 Burger King has a low carb whopper,it comes in a bowl with no bread, it has 280 calories with 22 protein 3 carbs 290 sodium 20 total fat.. low carb chicken whopper has less calories 160 calories 30 protein 3 carbs 4 total fat, bu****ch out it has 850mg sodium..

Wendy's Chili has 200 calories 17 protein 11 carbs 780 sodium and 6 total fat..

Long John Silver has a baked cod that has 120 calories 22 protein 1 carb 240 sodium and 5 total fat..

Taco Bell soft taco has 200 calories 10 protein bu****ch out 16 carbs and 580 sodium and 6 total fat..

These are just a few.. I keep a list in my purse for when I find myself out and having to eat somewhere.. My first choice actually is KFC grilled breast..  best for calories to protein ratio and not too much sodium or fat and no carbs..
