Disney World Update!!!!!

I'm back! I had the BEST TIME EVER!!!!!!

1st...I fit in the seat...with the arm rest down, no seatbelt extender AND my tray came all the way down!!!
But that's not really first...because in order to get to my seat I had to walk down the aisle right? well...when I flew before I would have to walk down sideways because the aisle was too narrow...but now...i walk down without touching the sides of the seats!!!! I could have gotten back off the plane and would have been satisfied...but noooooo.....LOL

We did 4 parks in 4 days...I'm still tired! But...I was able to keep up..and do you know what???? I went on a roller coaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fit in the seat, the safety bar came down and actually the attendant made it one notch tighter...good thing because on a few of those drops i felt myself lift out of the seat a little! I have pics to post but we got back late and I haven't gotten that far yet.

As a bonus...like what could be better than all that...I weighed myself when i got home and i have lost another 7lb!!!!! Sunday is my day to weigh, and we got home on sunday so i weighed even though it was the end of the day and that just put the sucralose sweetened sugar on top LOL

We walked so much that i got blisters on my feet by the second day, but i soaked my feet applied some neosporin and bandaids...and got right back out there the next day. I could do everything everyone else was doing. We went on a safari ride...haunted house...you name it, i was on it...took the steps...walked walked and walked. it was so fabulous! William was tired before I was. We never even made it down to the spa level of the hotel because we left in the morning, didn't get bac****il very late, showered and fell out. It was the MOST FABULOUS exhaustion I have ever felt.

But the best was that each morning I was able to get up and get right back out there. William could not believe it...and when i stopped to think about it, i was kinda impressed myself. I know I never could have done all of that before...and that alone...the sheer feeling of freedom just kept me going going going until I just had to sleep lol

So glad to be at work today where I can sit down for a change LOL

This is soooo awesome, congratulations on being able to TRULY enjoy a wonderful vacation with fewer discomforts and aches and pains.  I've been to Disney twice and I know the pain it can inflict if you're not in good health.  And look at how much you lost from all that walking!  I love it!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time at the Maus Haus.

Isn't it wonderful to be like a normal person?

What wonderful news- those are some really fantastic NSV's. You are so dead on, there is nothing like physical freedom. I was telling someone the other day, before it was like I was in a "Fat Cave" and couldn't see out, but now the world is my oyster...and yours too!

This was such a pleasure to read.  I've travelled at 400 plus and been totally uncomfortable.  YOU have inspired all of us to enjoy the "little things" which are huge things, when we are SMO.  I took it all in, and with awe, know that I'm getting there too!   Tears in my eyes.

FREEDOM.

Awww Mary, that made me cry!

I uploaded some pics to my profile. I almost started crying when i sat in the seat and put the arm rest down, seat belt on....but just took a deep breath and really enjoyed the moment.

I guess its really true...we don't know what we can do until we really try. I'm in awe!

I am so very very Happy for you...

Your description of the time you had was so great.. I really enjoyed reading it to hear all the great NSV's you experienced.. That is so so cool... .

Disney World is one of the happiest places on earth, but my only experiences there are miserable.. I had to use a wheel chair the last time we went and I was so upset with everyone trying to push my butt up hills and ramps.. We didnt get to do the main park .. Knowing I could not ride any rides anyway.. but let me tell you girl... you have just inspired me to go to Disney World again.. This time I am hoping just like you it all will be different , starting with the plane. I have hated to fly being SMO.. I can't wait to experience it all with a postive result..

Congratulations on the 7lb loss.. Yes you did a lot of walking... but that also means you made some pretty good food choices too.. If you ate all day everytime you could or all the junk that is available at Disney World, it would not have mattered how much you walked.. SO KUDOS.. you did great.. vacations are a hard time to stay on any plan... but you did it... WAY TO GO...

I am so proud for you.. and I know you are proud too of all the accomplishments you saw during this trip.. I am sure you are going to have many many more in the future..

And YES you are right.. there is NOTHING like physical Freedom.. .... aint it grand...

Huggs....
