Good Morning.. I hope everyone is ready for a great weekend.. The weather is suppose to be nice here and I am going to really get out and enjoy it.. lots of outside exercise today..

Along with outside weed pulling and lawn mowing, and babysitting my grandson this afternoon when my daughter goes horse back riding, I think this should be enough today.. my knees and hips are yelling take it easy today.. so I will split my walking up into three sessions..

Happy Saturday. Today was a beautiful day for my daughters first softball game. She got a hit and a run! We were on the road for the game from 7:30am-2:30pm so eating was a little slow this morning.
I've had 3 fruit protein drinks 120 cal, 20 pro each
Then I made the ricotta cheese bakes....YUMMY!!!! I had about 1/2 cup of that. Not sure of the counts but it was delicious.
Went to a support group last night where I heard a valuable bit of info...."Motivation FOLLOWS action" I've been waiting till I felt better and motivated to get back to the gym. Today even though I didn't feel like it, I went to the gym anyway, hope it will help me be motivated to do it again tomorrow. I am limited to the treadmill, did 35 minutes.

Good for you.. I am pleased to see you are going to the gym and walking.. Yes you have to make yourself get started , but the more you exercise and the more more weight you see coming off the more motivated you will be.. I struggled to keep up the exercise all that time I was stalled.. but the more I exercised the better I felt.. If I stopped exercising I get to the place where I am ready to throw in the towel , but as long as I am progressing in the exercise dept...even if it is 1 minute longer than I did two days before, I am happy.. each little advancement is a great accomplishment and it will make you feel so good about your self that you will want to do more and will really want to watch everything you eat and make the tool work.. All that time I was not loosing weight and feeling so bad about the scale not moving, I forgot to measure, after Michelle's prompting I measured and sure enough I was loosing inches.. and I also forgot to look at my progress in the exercise dept.. I went from walking 1.5 miles to walking 3 miles and from 10 minutes 3x a day on treadmill to being able to walk 1 hr at a time on it.. So always try to look at everything involved and get your motivation from the bigger picture too.. It helps sometimes to post your accomplishments here.. even if it is "I walked 1 minute more today"... Every move forward is to be celebrated...
So anyway Yes I agree you have to take action first, then the motivation will follow.. I am so proud of you for doing just that.. You keep up the good work and you will be so motivated that you will be doing more and more and loosing more and more..
