Hi all  I just got home from the hospitial. My surgery went good. I had surgery on Tuesday morning.  My surgeron was Dr. Whipple he and his assistant did a great job. I was very worried about the operation. I had the RNY and it turned out fine. The staff at the hosiptal was great I had a great staff at Memorial Health in Savannah.  The staff at the hospital made it for me.  They encouraged you to walk and drink so you would be ready to go home.  The sooner I got off the pain meds the better I was....I started walking as soon as I could.....so far so good....  A big thank you to everyone on this board...for the support it helped me stick to my decision. Will keep you posted.....

That's great! Well keep it up. Just follow the right kind of diet recommended after surgery. Just careful with possible risk like infection, or Vit B12 problems.
